What is this?
Canardians,
We will be having a canard fly-in at Perry-Houston County Airport (KPXE) in Perry, GA, on 29 May 2021 (see attached flyer). We are getting a new ramp and FBO and while the FBO won't yet be finished in May, the new ramp will be and our airport manager is excited to host our first canard fly-in here! For those wishing to stay overnight, our airport manager has an agreement with a local hotel for reduced rates, so you can contact me for details. The hotel is about 2 miles away and there will be transportation to get you to and from the hotel.
Also, the TRSA around Robins AFB and Macon sometimes make pilot shy away from our area. Please note that the TRSA is VOLUNTARY. You can ignore the gray lines unless you want traffic advisories. Since the fly-in is on a long holiday weekend, there will most likely be no military traffic. Just stay clear of the Robins and Macon Class D airports and all is good. Perry is on the Southwest side of the base and very easily accessible.
Food and drinks will be available. Come on down to Georgia and let's show mid-Georgia what canards are all about! Please spread the word.
